In this project, the residence built in 1924 was transformed into the stunning restaurant and cellar door at Lake Moodemere Estate. To preserve the historical charm, as many of the original floorboards and finishes were retained as possible. The transformation included replacing termite-damaged walls, knocking down and rebuilding walls to create a more open and functional space. A large deck was added, perfect for hosting events and enjoying the scenic surroundings. The interior was modernised with new bathrooms and a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, ensuring the facility meets the needs of a contemporary winery. This project highlights my ability to blend historical preservation with modern functionality, creating a unique and inviting space for Lake Moodemere Estate.
